A learning experience as well as keeping them clean, a bath can build a Chihuahua's confidence and get them used to being cleaned in this way by humans, and bathing early enough (we usually start at around 6 weeks old), without causing undue stress will remove anxiety as the puppy grows into adulthood.
After all a clean puppy is a happy one, and since we bathe sparingly and only use sensitive, no tears shampoo they won't become irritated.
